STARGAZE!
Download and print a sky chart from www.skytonight.com (click on the interactive sky chart) for the date and your location. To see the planets start early in the evening. Venus appears prominently in the wester horizon right after sunset. Jupiter is the second brightest object in the sky - just look south.
Drive In Theater
I often forget that this is a great summer evening activity. I bet you can find one in your area. Click here to see if there is one close to you.
Learning Manners
This may be a great time to work on your child's manners. A lot of manners are learned around the dinner table. Unfortunately that doesn't always happen, so go to this web page and find out how you can help your children learn manners through song. Make it a project for this summer.
